There are certain unnamed parties, whose names start with a ‘V’, that are hell bent upon getting certain other poor unnamed parties into a lot of trouble, that are going to get certain unnamed posterior parts kicked if certain other unnamed parties throw certain unnamed dining tables at certain aforementioned poor unnamed parties.

The wife shouldn’t be disheartened by the (married) man’s voluntary admission of reality. Marriage, i.e the sudden appearance of the wife, can often force men into abysmal depths of introspection. The man’s quandary is therefore well understood. By failing to clearly choose between the blog and the wife, the man still seeks to provide the wife with a narrow window of opportunity that she can use to her advantage. Quite frankly, most men may have said “The blog”. Therefore, there is still some time that the wife can buy to make amends.

However, in the context of the man’s inability to provide the wife (i.e subject) with her rightful place, the wife is encouraged to ponder about what (i.e object) she may want to fling at the man’s face as he steps into the house tonight.

The newly bought dining table comes to mind.
