You raise a very insightful point, but on closer examination, we can solve this difficult quandry. By equation (1), the egg came before the farmer. If you think about this deeply enough, zen style, it will become clear that the eggs created man, because most people I know are egg-heads anyway.

According to your equation…

omelet -> egg -> farmer -> chicken ….[ Equation (1)]

omelet obviously came before egg and farmer (i.e. man) which means omelet and hence egg existed even before man!!! ????

Your equation could convincingly solve only the original problem “What came first, the Chicken or the Egg?” but what about the problem “What came first, the Omelet/Egg or Farmer???”

I guess this finding is going to change the way we all think about our creation… whether God created man or omelet created man!!!!

Demand creates supply … But this is true for very very basic amenities ..
Now in this case … demand for omlet can exist only when some one has tasted omlets .. Now some one had to sell these omlet for the first time …
That farmer how did he get the tactic of even preparing ..??
So .. farmer –> chickens– > lots of eggs–> omlet !!

Yeah… The only way to make NP complete problems tractable is to kill the chicken.

Yes! The answer, as einstein’s relativity theory would suggest depends on if you like omelets or boiled eggs.
