The teams that will comprise of the Indian Premier League are supposedly going to be listed on the stock exchanges. In other words, legalized cricket betting!

I think this is a great idea. It’s much better to legalize-and-control than to ban-and-drive-underground, especially around things like betting and gambling. In fact, I think we should go a step further and have the individual players tradable. That’ll be so cool - You can own 0.0001% of Sachin Tendulkar, and the next time you see him squeaking on TV in his frail voice, at least he’s working for you.
