For those of you not in the know, The Darwin Awards are a horrendously barbaric, but ultimately hilarious (in the big picture, that is) awards that are given to folks that manage to kick the bucket in new and innovative ways. In their own words,

“Named in honor of Charles Darwin, the father of evolution, the Darwin Awards commemorate those who improve our gene pool by removing themselves from it.”

Totally funny if you have a twisted sense of humor.
