Titan SaturnScientists are today reporting that Titan, one of Saturn’s moons, has several times the oil reserves that all of earth has. Apparently Titan’s atmosphere is full of hydrocarbons and is filled with Lakes of Ethane and Methane. It literally rains Petrol there.

I predict that soon enough, the United States will declare Titan to be a terrorist heaven and declare a war on them, and will invade… no, “liberate” Titan from the evil forces. It has nothing to do with the massive Oil deposits there, of course.

Sarcasm aside, this is super cool, no? I think this is a great incentive for us to send a spacecraft out there and start mining Titan!
