Apparently a Physicist-turned-Surfer (surfing the oceans, not them interwebs) from Hawaii has discovered a theory of everything. As if the 11-or-so dimensions of string theory were not confusing enough, this theory is based on an exotic, 248-dimensional mathematic structure called ‘E8′ (see here for a simple explanation).
